Thailand’s tallest building rises 314 metres above Bangkok’s Silom district. From the 78th-floor open-air SkyWalk — a fully transparent glass platform suspended a literal third of a kilometre above the street — the city stops being a place you are in and becomes a place you look down on.
Bangkok’s Sky, Unobstructed
The journey begins the moment you step into the high-speed elevator: fifty seconds and you are at 314 metres. The indoor observation deck on the 74th floor gives you floor-to-ceiling panoramic glass, and the climb from there is the point — out into the open air, onto the glass.
Come late. The deck stays open until midnight, and Bangkok after dark is a different city from the one you saw at noon — the river a black seam through the lights, the expressways drawn in moving red and white.

BTS Chong Nonsi, exit 3 — a five-minute walk. MRT Silom is the alternative. Open daily from 10:00 until midnight.
